Paquita has the happy knack of guiding new thoughts, new directions, and isolating the key issues or elements that can then generate the bringing together of the critical activities to create change. This has led to her having some interesting jobs and projects.
Those jobs have included convening the music and film industries of New Orleans for the first time in their history; leading the group whose recommendations to the Louisiana State government produced a $47 million biosciences facility; winning a national data-processing operation for an Australian country town that had lost every major employer it had; and leading development of the risk-planning framework now used across the UK Fire and Rescue Service.
